Out of Class Experiences

Students in Fundamentals of Engineering Program (FEP) courses (ENGR 100, 101, 102, 150 and MAE 102) are required to attend engineering-related events outside of their regularly scheduled class time. These activities, called Out of Class Experiences (OCEs), are designed to help students gain a better understanding of the careers available in each of the engineering disciplines. OCEs account for a percentage of the course grade in each of the FEP courses. These events can include engineering-related lectures and FEP activities.
